Look who showed up, Stooge Fan Bob Bernet.
Author Steve Cox. (His new book "One Fine Stooge" is one Great Book!). So that would make him "One Fine Author". "Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk"
Actress Diana Darrin. Has worked with everyone from "The Three Stooges" to "Jack Nicholson"!!! (Diana appeared in a number of Shemp and Joe Besser Stooges shorts in the 1950s. She was also in an episode of "Adventures of Superman", "Bonanza", and "Perry Mason", and in B-movies such as "The Incredible Shrinking Man", "Reform School Girl", "The Amazing Colossal Man" and A-pictures like "Marty", and "The Naked Ape" and much, much more!).
Saxon Sitka (son of supporting actor Emil Sitka). Saxon's father "Emil Sitka" is famous for his character roles in slapstick comedy, he became a regular in shorts and feature films with the Three Stooges, making thirty-five shorts with the boys. He holds the further distinction of appearing with each of the six Stooges (Moe, Shemp, and Curly Howard; Larry Fine; Joe Besser; and Joe DeRita).
His web site is: "Emil Sitka-The Fourth Stooge" ( http://www.emilsitka.com/)
Kansas Stooge with Joan Howard Maurer. (Moe's daughter) She is the author of: "The Three Stooges Book of Scripts", "Curly, an Illustrated Biography of the Superstooge" (My
favorite!!!) , "The Three Stooges: Book of Scripts Volume II", "The Three Stooges Scrapbook".
L to R: Jen Howard (Moe's grand-daughter), Paul Howard (Moe's son & Jen's father), One tired Kansas Stooge (Paul & Gary are keeping me from falling down after that long walk), Gary Lassin (Stoogeologist and Fan Club President).
I decided to walk from the Holiday Inn to the Stoogeum.
The directions said it would only take 6 to 8 minutes by car.
So I figured that would translate into 15 to 20 minutes walking.
Boy was I wrong, when the directions said go 4 lights I was thinking of 4 normal city blocks.
This turned out to be more like one mile per block.
With heavy traffic and almost no sidewalks to walk on, I kept going!!!
The walk or should I say The Quest, turned out to be more than I was expecting.
But in the end I finally made it!!!
